Hello all.
I watched "The Holiday" last night and fell back in love with Jude Law. Err.. at least Jude Law's characters. Don't have much respect for the man himself anymore, but that MOVIE IS SO CUTE!!!! I love Kate Winslet!!! Even if she annoyed me quite a bit in Titanic. (Ioan Gruffudd's in that movie!)
I want to switch houses with someone and spend two weeks in England... no fair!

Liverpool 4-1 Arsenal

Sadies is tonight. Kathleen and I are such losers. We're going to one of our houses and eating dinner at home and watching "Rent" or "The Holiday". I love it!

I want to go to Disneyland. Or Knotts. Just anywhere away from Troy and away from biology and calculus and grades and colleges and tests and life really.

And of course, more than anything, I want to go to England, as usual. If I lived in Wales for a few years (the Welsh border IS pretty close to Liverpool) and tried to speak Welsh whenever possible, could I learn it? Since I mean.. everyone there DOES speak English and Welsh, it wouldn't be as difficult to communicate while learning one language. Not like Russian or something, where if I went to Moscow, no one would understand me and I wouldn't understand them and I'd have to learn it first.

Wales is so pretty... very rainy, but beautiful... even if Elsa was sick all through Wales.

I need a holiday. A very long holiday. And I don't expect that I shall return. In fact, I mean not to.

Maybe not as extreme as Bilbo... but I do feel like butter scraped over too much bread.

I think the reason I don't post as often as I used to is because I have less to complain about nowadays. I was sitting here thinking about it the other day and I suddenly came to the realization that life is pretty good right about now. Sure, my grades kinda suck and I'm always extremely stressed and frantic over something or another. Yes, I don't spend time with a lot of great friends anymore and I miss them a lot, something that saddens me deeply. Yes, I am always tired. But somehow, beneath all that, I am pretty content. All the little moments throughout the day.

So I shall now make a list of the moments that show why we should smile and be happy:
-laughing with Shayne in Hinman
-making faces at Norman
-being with Alison, Tisa, and Hubert when we're working on the computers in business and listening to Tisa in her hysterical mood
-trying to stay awake with Kathleen in calc
-listening to Matt Timms do whatever insane thing he's doing in calc
-making fun of Mr. Koci
-screaming and twirling at break
-taking one tater tot from Royston's batch
-going to my locker with Yogin
-history, enough said.
-Mr. Dickey
-Senor Mainer
-yelling at Hubert in Spanish, especially when he doesn't understand
-making fun of Royston with Shayne at lunch
-lunch, in general
-poking David in Oracle
-bothering Kathleen while she's doing something important
-making finger hearts with Amity from across the room
-imitating Nataly
-listening to Sayak and Jordan bicker
-getting mad at Amy for her ridiculous theory
-poking and bothering David and Norman in bio before class
-laughing at Jordan and Sayak's faces behind Mr. K's back while he's lecturing
-making Kathleen puke at me and Yogin after school
-stopping by Starbucks after school with Kathleen
-singing at the top of our lungs all the way home (Kathleen and I)
-designing creative layouts we're not going to use with Winston
-trying to write titles that fit perfectly on Indesign
-bickering about football with Matthew
-reading random gmail chats from Yogin
-seeing comments on my blog
-youtube
-all my friends, even if I don't get to see them or talk to them as much as I would like to anymore

I FINALLY GOT TO SEE IT!!!!!

Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind, but now I see

O blessed film! So I finally got my wish of seeing "Amazing Grace", the story about the British abolitionist William Wilberforce. It's a movie about British history. It was made for me. Especially since it starred Ioan Gruffudd.
I dragged my mom and Kathleen to the movie theatre this morning.
SUCH A GOOD MOVIE.
Kathleen was like, "It was really inspirational... but it would've been a lot better if it weren't British."
"WHAT?"
"No cuz like.. I couldn't really relate and I didn't understand a lot of the references!"

So she didn't know what an MP was. MEMBER of PARLIAMENT.

I am even more in love with Britain than before. Is this possible?

On a side note: I want to speak Welsh!!

Hehe so we showed our English video today... most embarrassing moments of our lives. I started crying from laughing so hard. Maybe I'll post it on youtube and on here or something... poor Shayne would hate me forever for that.

I read "Like Water For Chocolate" over the weekend, after Kathleen's Asian party. Only I would do that. Come back from an Asian party at 1 AM and start reading and finish at 3 AM. I couldn't put it down!! I wanted to know what happened! Oh yes.. call me dirty. Go ahead.
So at the Asian party, Kathleen and I rented "Step Up" (FOR THE DANCING AND NOT FOR CHANNING TATUM, THANK YOU VERY MUCH), and we spent the length of the credits dancing. Hehe. Kathleen thinks she can break dance. It's really funny watching her. :D

Since we had early release today, Robin, Kathleen, and I went to the Starbucks area for an hour. While we were at Yogurtland getting boba.
Robin: Kathleen, would you ever kiss a girl?
Kathleen: A WHAT?!?! EWWWWWW NO! DISGUST ME!!!!
Robin: Not even for money?
K: NO!!! EW!!! GROSS!!!!! *typical Kathleen freaking out response*
Robin: Even for a million dollars?
K: NOOOO!!!!!!!
R: Just a little peck?
K: EWWWWWWWWWWW
Elaine: I think the more appropriate question is whether Kathleen will ever kiss a boy, let alone a girl.
K: HEY! I WILL ONE DAY!
E: When?
K: I don't know... someday... when I get married.
R: WHEN YOU GET MARRIED? YOU'RE NOT GONNA KISS HIM BEFORE?!?!?!
K: No...
Elaine & Robin: WHAT?!?!?!?!
K: I'm SAVING MYSELF, OKAY?
E: FOR WHAT?
K: FOR THE PERFECT MOMENT!
E: Kissing?! How are you ever gonna get anywhere close to marriage if you won't even KISS THE GUY?
K: HEY. I CAN WAIT.
R: Wow Kathleen...
E: *bursts out laughing* Can't you just imagine Kathleen on her wedding night? *quick little peck of a kiss* Alright, goodnight then!
*Robin and Elaine laugh*
*Kathleen fumes*
R: Wow Kathleen.. you're so... behind. What are we gonna do with you?
K: HEY WHAT DO YOU MEAN BEHIND? YOU TOO?
R: Uh... duh...
K: EWWWWW!!!

Apparently Kathleen is gonna "date" in college.
No kissing though. :)

I was in a very interesting mood at lunch today. It was a "Elaine is hyper and is going to make really, really, really bad jokes and then laugh hysterically about them for 10 minutes afterwards while everyone else stares on in blank silence, shocked that anyone could possibly be stupid enough to say such things" mood.

Yes. Quite an adequate description.

GAH I SOUND MORE LIKE SHAYNE BY THE MINUTE. (hehe though this doesn't. I write in caps far more often. He only does when it concerns Orodreth. :D)

So bad joke #1:
GUILT TRIP! So if someone named Guilt is on the floor and you don't see him and you trip, it's A GUILT TRIP!!!!!

OKAY. PEOPLE LIKE ME TRIP A LOT. I FIND IT HILARIOUS.

Bad joke #2:
Is harder to explain because it involves my very, very, very stupid physical action. Essentially, I imitated an ostrich.

Yes. I'm sure you're all dying to see that. I should take a picture.

Stayed in the assistant principal's office by myself until 7 PM today. It was utterly ridiculous. Kathleen needed the laser colour printer, which is only in MacIntyre's office, for her FBLA project, which was due and Lambert was breathing down her neck. MacIntyre and his secretary were both leaving for the weekend and thus they sent ME there to basically SIT there and make sure we still had access to the room and consequently the printer.
Yeah...

I was so bored I started singing at the top of my lungs, dancing, and twirling.
NO I DID NOT BREAK ANYTHING. Though I did seriously consider doing a cartwheel.

Oh yes! Sayak sang today for Warrior Idol. Was awesome, of course. "Sway With Me"--Michael Buble (with the accent on the 'e', of course, though Kathleen still likes to call him Michael Bublee).

Wow I'm in a very blogging mood right now. Hasn't happened in a while.
What else happened today??
Failed my calc test... did okay on bio (I hope)
OOO cried my eyes out in Spanish after we finished the movie. It was SO SAD. and Mainer apparently couldn't understand why I was crying so hard and thought there was something wrong with me otherwise. I cry in movies. It's what I do. I cry really hard in movies. It's a sign that I like the movie if I cry in it. And I cry in most movies I see.

Ate a lot of Hubert's food today too...

Tomorrow I have

-English quiz (it's not hard.. I just have to spend time memorizing, and I don't have time.)
-Business test (grr I actually kinda have to study this time)
-CALC TEST (AND I DON'T GET IT)
-BIO QUIZ (I NEVER GET IT)

So you knwo how I only got like... 4 hours of sleep Thursday night?

Well I came home Friday afternoon around 5 PM, and said I was gonna take a "short nap".

Yes well, it's Saturday 9:22 AM right now, and I just woke up about half an hour ago.

Wow.. 16 hours!

with many random dreams in between, including Las Vegas, McFly concert, and some guy from Servite.

Yeah okay... shutting up now.

Friday, March 09, 2007

It is 1 AM.
On a school night.
And yes, I am up.

Why, you ask?

Biology.

24 + pages of plants. And increasing. By the minute.

It is already 9 AM in England I'm still awake.

I almost don't want to go to sleep overall because waking up is the hardest part.

Ridiculous school..

Kathleen put this in her profile a while ago, but I just looked again and found it precious and I have to keep it here or else she'll delete it someday and it'll be lost in the particles of the universe forever.

HINTS on life with Elaine and Robin:
1) NEVER have Robin make you laugh... she tickles you in the WEIRDEST places.....
2) Learn to zone out, especially when Elaine starts rambling about Lord of the Rings or FUTBOL
3) NEVER watch LOTR with Elaine, she'll freakin say every line before it actually happens.. just imagine if Shayne AND Elaine were there
4) NEVER be in the car with Robin when she needs to let out some gas.... (remember the little girl who had to crap on that road trip with her family in "Rat Race"? well... now you know.)
5) NEVER ask Elaine for a freakin chicken wing... cuz she freakin gives you a CARROT
6) OH YEAH,... when someone asks you "how are you doing today".... the correct answer is "WELL"... my bad...
7) NEVER ask me to be your chaffeur... um... I tend to make like a MILLION U-turns cuz I ALWAYS miss the freakin turn-street (damn..)
8) yellow light game is nasty... you perverts..
9) and FINALLY.... life is a ROCKY journey.. so ENJOY it while you can! (good times.. good times... love ya both!)

Sunday, March 04, 2007

I finished "Crime and Punishment" last night, after four hours of reading. *sniff sniff* It's so pretty at the end... even if Raskolnikov is deranged. I quite like him somehow. Yes Shayne, shoot me now. I've decided I like Dounia more than Sonia. More spirit. Sonia's too bashful and complacent.

la la la. I really should do a lot of math homework! And study for the test. Oh and study for the APUSH test to show them all. MWAHAHA.

But right now, I really feel like watching Les Miserables. Michael Ball!

O, and Patrick Wilson is absolutely AMAZING. If you've ever heard him sing "Why God Why" from Miss Saigon. HOLY GRANOLA BAR. And i don't even like granola bars!

Alright I really need to get back to updating daily. I guess I'm pretty content with life right now. All is going well, except that I'm just so completely swamped with work to do. And plus I'd been living at Kathleen's house, so I didn't get to update much. So let's have a review of the past week and a half.

Last Friday: Went home with Kathleen and stayed with her.
Saturday: Drove by myself on the freeway for the first time. Went to Mater Dei in Santa Ana for the Oracle write-off. They staged a hour-long press conference for us to ask questions about the issue. It was about banning cell phone usage in schools after a student recorded a teacher angrily reprimanding another student with his phone and then posted it on youtube. We then got an hour to write our respective articles. The opinion people were the only ones allowed on the computer. Mwahah. MATER DEI HAS REALLY NICE COMPUTERS. Holy crap. Brand new, white, FAST, pretty IMacs. Private schools...
Troy won!! Two years in a row!! YAY!! I got 7th in editorial... eh.. it's alright. David and Robin got #1 and #2 in editorial cartoon! YAY!
After having lunch with half the staff at Pat n Oscars and then sitting in Nataly's Hummer (funniest thing ever; tiny little Nataly driving this huge monster), I drove to Western High School because I have no life and thus must visit the FBLA Conference that I'm not even in. Kathleen had left by then (loser), but Yogin, Matthew, Hubert, Tisa, and half of the school were still there. Yes people, this is Elaine's act of rebellion. A car. No parents. And so I drive to an FBLA conference as an act of freedom. So sad. :D
Gambling is bad boys! I get there and find Hubert, Matthew, and Yogin gambling, as they had been for the previous 3 hours. Bad boys. We then proceeded to play catch with some random ball that Matthew found.. Yeah I can't catch or throw okay?

Kathleen and I lived at the Borders cafe, and we kept talking to the guy who works there making coffee, Matt, who is one of the funniest people I have ever met. Also one of the strangest, but still.
So if YOU had every superpower ever, like strength, invisibility, all of them, what would be the first thing you did?
Kathleen said, "Try to die." (She's been watching Groundhog Day too much.)
You know what this guy Matt says? So you know how superheroes are super-strong and have extremely developed muscles? Including ass muscles? So wouldn't it be cool if like.. they're so strong that when they crap, it shoots out and they could kill people with that. I would want to kill someone with my crap.

Yeah okay. Weirdo.

So yeah. I hate biology. I really do. Freakin seed germination project, other labs, and freakin plant test covering 9 chapters. *dies*

Stayed at layout till 6 yesterday. Watched Winston mess with the layout. Then went to Pepe's with Steph and Kathleen and ate dinner. They both had breakfast burritos, while I had taquitos. Then headed to the school play, "You Can't Take It With You", which was absolutely awesome. Yogin came as well, and you always know when Yogin's here because you see this car speeding through the parking lot like a maniac. The play was so cute!!! Even if I was scarred for life by the mere sight of Royston's blindingly white, skinny, pallid legs. Matt Timms was awesome of course, and Ariana was so cute! My favourite was the Russian!

I promise I shall update more! Hopefully!
