Yesterday was a good day! Got two letters from Elsa!!! She is the COOLEST PERSON EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the dorkiest!!! She got me one of those live-strong bracelet thingies, only it was customized. It's white and says: the Gondorian! Yes yes I'm getting buried wearing it! hehehe and those M&Ms Star Wars characters. I am torn between shaking my head in exasperation and hysterical laughter. Hehehe.

Elsa---you're so cool!!!

Then last night my dad was invited over to his friend's house. I hate going over there, because their daughter is soooooooooo flippin annoying! So i stayed at home and pouted. My dad said I could've gone to Kathleen's, but KATHLEEN wasn't home, so I couldn't just go over!!!! So then, Kathleen FINALLY answers her phone, and I make her come over. Since she can drive and all. She goes to Hollywood Video and picks up Sweet Home Alabama, then goes to McDonalds and got us food, and then came over and we had a FEAST! I mean, McDonalds, Pringles, and CANDY!!!!!!!! dinner and a movie kathleen! It was awesome! She's so cool!

I love my friends!

I always have so many things to ramble about during the day, but when I'm actually here I have absolutely no idea what to rant about. Amazing...

OMG.. GATTACA WAS SOOOO SAD!!!!! Tis a movie, if you guys don't know, starring Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman, and JUDE LAW! Very um... appealing cast, to say the least. JUDE LAW! but no that's not why i liked the movie, though it obviously added to it. He had the most awesome lines. However the themes appealed to me the most, especially his. I mean the Ethan Hawke character, Vincent had the theme that you can be whatever you set your mind to, and the tagline of the movie: There is no gene for the human spirit. But the theme of Jerome appealed to me more, as it was just the opposite. This guy has been programmed so that he is the best as you can be, physically and mentally, and is practically going to live forever, with the highest intelligence, physicality, capability in general, but he doesn't win.
One of them suffers under the burden of constraint, as people don't allow him the chance to do anything.
The other suffers under the burden of perfection. He is expected to outperform, to win, to dazzle, and when he can't, he doesn't understand and can't take it.

O great this is starting to sound like my Anakin rants. Hehe I think characters that were destined to have a great destiny but fell short, and in doing so, couldn't deal with their lack of perfection seem to appeal to me especially.

I sobbed in English today when we finished the movie. Sobbed. My jacket was wet, and Gleb wouldn't stop making fun of me. Mrs. Madrid gave me like 3 pats on the head and a hug. Hehehe...

Chem test was easy today, provided I didn't make any stupid mistakes. Trig test, grammar quiz, and Spanish verb quiz tomorrow!

It's Friday!!!

I really love bus rides, especially in the afternoon (despite the evil old lady). It's really comforting to be around a group of people who love you, and whose ulterior motives are relatively low. Like today after school, Camron, Matthew, Robin, and I went down to Lollicup or Tapioca Express or whatever you want to call it. It was awesome!!! We were total freaks. Or at least Robin and I were. We got off the bus and I run to my dad's car that is parked nearby and throw my stuff in and get money. Troy was already halfway across the street, and Robin goes sprinting off into the street, while these cars are turning.
Me: What are you doing Robin?!!?
Matthew: Run into the street!!! YES! Get run over!

So then we go to cross the street, until Camron just starts jaywalking, so Elaine must naturally follow Camron, which then prompts this thought in Matthew's mind: Camron's getting himself killed, which means Elaine has to kill herself, and I might as well just die if those two are dead. Thus: four 15-year-olds broke California state law. (It was all Camron for any law enforcement reading this)
Then Robin and I soared down Grand Ave. Literally. She started it! She started acting like an airplane, charging down the runway! So I then started skipping and doing that one JV basketball drill where you basically practice jumping in a layup. Then we started kicking off our flip-flops into the air and seeing how high it could go! It was awesome! Mine almost went into the street. At one point I collapsed into the grass because Robin did something absolutely stupidly hysterical, and Chris, Camron, and Matthew just left me there!!!
Camron: Robin-- you stay in the grass too!
Somehow we finally make it down to Tapioca, and we set our things down. I then buy just a regular boba, and Matthew buys a mango slushie which Camron commands him to add boba to (we're trying to make Matthew asian or something.. STAY ENGLISH!! RESIST THEIR EFFORTS!!!) Then clueless Robin goes to the register, and takes at least 5 minutes trying to decide what to buy. She ends up buying a banana slushie boba, while Camron gets a lychee (li zhi) slushie boba.
We sit there and drink and laugh hysterically and play cards. I would like to say: I WON I WON!!!! we were the only people in there for the majority of the time, and it was awesome.
I felt a sense of contentment and happiness come over me. With Camron (in a good mood) sitting to my left, his eyes warm and twinkling, and Matthew on the right, grinning dimples evident as ever, and Robin dying of stupidity (in a good way), that was happy. It wasn't getting 100% on an AP Euro test (though that would come very close), or winning an award (though i wouldn't mind this either), or even reading that Michael Owen and Steven Gerrard are both staying at Liverpool for the rest of their careers (and this will happen someday).

Elaine is happy. Savor it guys. Doesn't happen often, and doesn't last long.

Estoy muy deprimida porque tengo notas malas!!!!

At least, tengo una nota mala en la clase de computacion.

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I HATE COMPUTER SCIENCE!! I don't LIKE it. I don't UNDERSTAND it. I don't want to do it! And i'm FAILING THE CLASS!!!!!!

And no, this is not another case of Elaine failing. This is ACTUAL BAD BAD BAD GRADE. If any of you had this grade you'd be freaking out.

The problem is that 80% of the grade IS TESTS. 10% programming and 10% homework. I can program and I do my homework. All was well.

Then we got our tests from last week back.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

So an overview of Elaine's grades:
AP Comp Sci: SO BAD that I'm DREADING the day Mr. Reid posts them
Trig H: a THREAD of a 92 hanging PRECARIOUSLY over the edge of a knife (like the Fellowship)
Spanish: 97.8
English: 96.2
Chem: a THREAD of a 90 hanging EVEN MORE PRECARIOUSLY over a candle and the edge of a knife
AP Euro: 97--not worried
Basketball: A

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

So my weekend

Saturday:

Got up BRIGHT AND EARLY at 7 AM to go to Troy. While I was brushing my teeth, my dad started hollering, "WE'RE LATE!!!!!!! HURRY UP!!!!!!!!" I yell, "NO WE'RE NOT!"
"YES WE ARE!!! MY WATCH IS MORE ACCURATE THAN YOURS!" I'm thinking, "Dad... it's still on "Popular", it's been like 2 minutes. We're never late usually, so we can't be late on a Saturday!" but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO i get DRAGGED downstairs.
Go to pick up Royston and Camron, and have to remind them to go get a calculator.
Arrive at Troy EARLY, thanks to dad, and discover that Camron, Royston, and I are all in the same room! THe lecture hall! HAhah poor Matthew got stuck with a bunch of strangers.
The test was surprisingly easy, with Camron and Royston playing on their calculators every four seconds. Took Matthew, Camron, and Royston home.

After a couple hours, headed over to the new house of my parents' friends. They've known them for 30 years, and I remember them. The wife is absolutely hilarious in every thing she does, and is one of the best cooks EVER. Wow I absolutely stuffed myself! Left their house at 10 PM, and watched K-19: the Widowmaker again. IT WAS SOOOOO SAD!!!!!!!

Sunday:
did hw all day, and then went out to dinner with my mom and MAtthew at Chilis. I was high. It was awesome!

I shall post about homecoming someday in the future, because I don't feel like being detailed right now.

Today started horribly, but got better with each passing period.
0: I DIED IN COMP SCI. OMFG!! MY STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID PROGRAM!!!! *KILLS*

1: Trig: Eh notes--nothing special. she didn't sing or anything

2: Spanish: Nothing special either. One day, I will seriously HURT Mark.

3: English: That was really fun. Spent half of it laughing at Vicky, with Lauren and Jordan. Spent the other half conversing with Jordan and/or Gleb. Awesome.

4: Chem: I don't know. I just felt light-hearted in this class, despite the impending test tomorrow.

5: AP Euro: was fun!!! Made fun of Matthew's eating habits, and talked about Mary, Queen of Scots.

6: OMFG! I DIED. Coach Yano asn't here, so we had to work with JV. OMG. *dies*

Was high after school, all the way to McDonalds. Me and Andy were being extremely stupid. This is what happens when Elaine is really really tired. I'm like a battery powered machine--when battery is low, I spaz out, doing crazy things, like turning off and then turning on sporadically. It's because I don't have enough energy to gather myself, so I'm just all over the place.
I don't know how it started, but it was as we were getting of the bus. O YEA now i remember. So i'm trying to get my stuff, and Andy is standing there, and I say, "Andy! Don't you dare get off without Elaine! Elaine is like oxygen. Elaine is a many splendored thing."
Andy: O NO! Elaine lifts us up where we belong. All you need is Elaine!
*starts singing* All you need is Elaine.

So the song progressed in this fashion.
[Elaine:]
Please, don't start that again
[Andy:]
All you need is Elaine!
[Elaine:]
A girl has got to eat!
[Andy:]
All you need is Elaine!
[Elaine:]
She'll end up on the street! (sigh)
[Andy:]
All you need is Elaine!
[Elaine:]
Elaine is just a game.
[Andy:]
I was made for loving you baby,
You were made for loving me.
[Elaine:]
The only way of loving me baby,
Is to pay a Elainely fee.
[Andy:]
Just one night,
Give me just one night.
[Elaine:]
There's no way,
Cause you can't pay.
[Andy:]
In the name of Elaine!
One night in the name of Elaine!
[Elaine:]
You crazy fool,
I won't give in to you.
[Andy:]
Don't, leave me this way.
I can't survive, without your sweet Elaine,
Oh baby, don't leave me this way.
[Elaine:]
You'd think that people would've had enough of silly Elaine songs...
[Andy:]
I look around me and I see it isn't so, oh no.
[Elaine:]
Some people wanna fill the world with silly Elaine songs
[Andy:]
Well what's wrong with that?
I like to know.
Cause here I go... again...
Elaine lifts us up where we belong!
Where eagles fly,
On a mountain high!

We didn't get to finish. But it was AWESOME

It's ME again!

Stupid Elaine.. obviously it's you because it's YOUR blog and no one else can post on it.

I'm hopefully trying to get the comment section working.

This week has been... very very.. bipolar, for lack of a better word. I've had my great moments, and my very very low moments. How odd for Elaine to have a great range of emotions.

I love the Valois and all their dysfunctionality and corruption and oddities and debauchery. And I am sorry that I was/am in love with a fanatical Catholic murderer who wanted to be king..

Don't know who I'm talking about?

Henri d'Guise

Can't believe they actually coerced him into marrying Catherine of Cleves. but MARGOT AND HENRI WERE PERFECT TOGETHER! ARGH

I can't believe Henri d'Valois had him assassinated. Some will argue that Guise could have prevented it if he had tried, and that he actually WANTED to die. That he got cold feet when he could have been King of France within 10 minutes. I cry. Though I'm glad Henri d'Navarre became king, or else France probably wouldn't exist today. They'd have exterminated themselves in all that fighting, or we'd all be speaking Spanish.

Alright stopping my historical rant now.

It's been an extremely eventful two days.

Thursday night:
Went over to Kristina's house for sleepover. It was SOOOO AWESOME! Me, Jen, and Kristina were high on something.. Hehehehehhe! We spent half the time poking Jen and making her snort. Heheheh it's more fun than it sounds! Then we took in so much sugar.... I don't know what would happen. I played Kristina's GRAND PIANO that was absolutely AWESOME! It sounded soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good and it felt so light and my ballade sounded so beautiful! I was happy! Then Kristina and I sang "Popular" at Jen, which freaked her out and when she dissed the song, we banished her from the bed off to the island of.. the CHAIR! We sang "WHat Is this Feeling" together too. It was awesome!! ELSA I CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO COME!!!

And the highlight of the night:
Art thou not Kristina, and a Heiney?

*breaks out laughing again*

The next morning, Kristina was still asleep, so Jen and I decided to go bang on the grand piano. It included she and I dueting for the Phantom of the Opera, while I played it. O my lord... Jen is a HORRIBLE singer, and I was shrieking cuz it was funny. EHehehhe you'd think it was like 2 banshies or something.

Chased Jen around the house with a camera, while she donned blankets and flew around like a Nazgul. We got some excellent pictures, including embarrassing ones of Elaine in her pajamas. We LOCKED JEN IN THE SHOWER! It was AWESOME! Alright.. so my dad was coming to pick me up, so I'm like, "Guys.. I'm gonna go change into my clothes now. Don't kill each while I'm gone."
So I go into the bathroom, and Jen runs in, and locks the door.
"Jen.. I'm trying to change."
"I don't care."
Kristina's banging on the door, "LET ME IN!!! IT'S MY BATHROOM!"
So I unlock the door and let her in. Jen runs into the shower and slams the glass door thingy; grabs the first thing she sees, which is a towel.
Kristina and I spend the next 5 minutes trying to take a picture of her. Jen then unwittingly tries to force her way out of the shower, which I am guarding with my precious self by exerting my weight on it. So she has the door halfway open, so Kristina pokes her (she's extremely ticklish), and I grab the towel and slam the door. So she has no protection--MUAHAHAH! Then we got stupid pictures of her!! We were also trying to throw skittles into each other's mouths... IT WAS AWESOME!

This morning.. I had my stupid annual Troy girls basketball CAR WASH!

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN DRYING CARS. MY ARMS HURT. My job was to dry the top of the cars. WHY DO YOU PEOPLE BUY FREAKIN SUVS?!?!?!!

I feel like the disenfranchised proletariat! VIVE LENIN!!!!!!

Please work! Please look good new theme! I've been slaving for hours
