okay, i'm a little more calm (yea right!!!) the one love of my life is back!!!!! o Iluvatar!!!!!!! anyway, this is what New Line allowed us pitiful freaks to see from RotK EE due on DECEMBER 14, tentatively...



We see Frodo and Sam in their Orc disguises joining the column of Orcs as they march out of Mordor.


There are numerous shots of the Houses of Healing with Faramir, Eowyn, and Merry all seen.


A lot more looks to be added to the siege of Minas Tirith, as there was a bunch of new battle footage.


Frodo and Sam venture into the Crossroads and a few clips from that section were included.


The Mouth of Sauron is featured pretty heavily. If you've played EA's Return of the King video game you'll recognize the scene. The Mouth of Sauron rides out of the Black Gate and presents Frodo's mithril coat to the Fellowship.


Aragorn reveals himself to Sauron by approaching the Palantir in Minas Tirith and wields Anduril to show that the Heir of Elendil was alive.


We get to see more of Saruman later in the preview when he knocks Wormtongue down and also fires a giant fireball from his staff that engulfs Gandalf on Shadowfax.


There's more of Frodo and Sam in Mordor after they join the column of Orcs and before they discard their disguises. In one scene, Sam looks to the dark sky of Mordor and tells Frodo that he can see light as one little star can be seen glimmering through the clouds.


And yes, we will finally get to see Gandalf facing down the Witch King. It happens exactly as we've seen, but when Gandalf holds up his staff the Witch King pulls out his sword and holds it to the sky where it spouts flames. As he brings it down, the air around the burning sword is distorted.

they showed these in the previews, and then treated the fans 2 THREE WHOLE SCENES--TWO HAVE FARAMIR!!!!
There was a nice scene of Pippin and Faramir in Gondor where Faramir explains to the Hobbit how the small Gondorian armor he was wearing belonged to a young son of the Steward when he was a kid. Faramir further explains how Boromir was always the soldier and he wasn't.


A scene that takes place about five days after they were healed by Aragorn features Faramir and Eowyn on a balcony at the Houses of Healing where Eowyn falls for Faramir.


The Paths of the Dead is extended from where it ends in the theatrical cut. After Aragorn poses his offer, the dead laugh and go back into the walls. A massive earthquake starts, and the Three Hunters must escape an avalanche of millions of skulls.

Described, but not shown, another scene expanded in this edition is the scene where Pippin finds Merry on the battlefield. Now, Pippin searches the field for an entire day after everyone else has gone back into the city. He finally locates Merry at night in the new version of the scene.

and guess what, @ this SAn Diego thing i should have gone to, DAVID WENHAM, Billy Boyd, and Rick Porras was there to answer questions!!!
ooo Saruman also has some scenes. one where he warns that Middle-EArth will never be the same again, and that all the "good" people are going to die. No!!! not aragorn!!

life is uneventful, routine. routine isn't a bad thing, i suppose, for it gives you stability, but it would be nice to have a change once in a while.

me and connie are having a quite interesting convo right now. she wanted to know how much storage space all my LotR stuff, including poems, quotes, stories, pics, soundtracks, more documents and stuff, takes up in my computer. well, i just went through and calculated, and it's approximately 105,375,089!! and counting!!! bcuz as my stories and pics get larger and more numerous.. my poor computer. now i'm attempting 2 convert that # in to MB, and failing.

i WAS doing my english project. i love this story! the Scarlet Ibis-it's so sad, and the symbolism and description within is beautiful and rich. i'm looking for some Cold War novels to read right now, but can't find any. anyone have any suggestions? i started Ann Rinaldi's Fifth of March today @ Borders. i wanna read more!!! ppl have told me she's a good author, but most of her stories are all colonial/revolutionary America, and that doesn't really appeal to my tastes. europe for me thank u. gonna delve into Russian history for the moment.

busy day today. got up @ around 9, and watched Aleksei Nemov kick everyone else's @$$ @ Sydney four years ago... damn he was good. it was undisputable who the best was. i mean, he didn't make a mistake!!!! ::sigh::
headed out to Troy.. have to go to school on saturday, such is life. basketball practice. i HATE those dribbling drills we have to do. the outlet one was fun, but it reminded me alot of Con and her passes, and that got me all nostalgic. sweated like a pig, and hurried to Roland Heights. lunch w/ relatives--lovely, eh? my cousin wouldn't stop annoying me. "play with me! play with me!" she took it as a criminal offense when i stopped to speak/look at anyone else there.
got to art an hour late, but stayed an hour late. the teacher STILL won't stop trying to get me to do oil painting.. watercolor is soo much better than bloody oil!!
drove to piano, where i played pretty Chopin!!! pretty nocturne!! she said i made it sound too much like Mozart, but yea, i'll change that. plus, she let me borrow her Phantom of the Opera book!! HA! now i have ALL of them!! yay!!

JSA was fun. we argued about homosexual parents, and i was for adoption, while a bunch of ppl were against. kathleen sat behind me, and didn't agree w/ me, but didn't say anything aloud. there are a bunch of speech & debate events, and i have to pick. i might either do Lincoln-Douglas, which is one-on-one debating, like Abraham Lincoln & Stephen Douglas, of course. the other is policy, two-on-two. there's also Student Congress, which sounds pretty fun.

yea... my head hurts a bit right now. no patrick, it's not ITCHING, bcuz i didn't LAY IN THE GRASS. oy. now it itches, RIGHT after i typed that. damn reverse psychology.

hey!! i just got back from basketball tryouts--sweating like a pig. their not cutting any girls, becuz there's only like 3 new girls (while there's 50+ guys) they ran us HARD.. patrick, u lied to me!!! we ran, ran, some more, and then ran. and then ran w/ the ball. no shooting, just dribbling. there was one point where we had to do lines, except dribbling TWO balls SIMULTANEOUSLY. i mean, con, i know u can do that, but ME. in the end, we had scrimmaging. i made two layups! yay!!! RIGHT HAND THOUGH. hehehe i missed my left hand Connie! don't hurt me! yea, but all modesty aside, i had pretty good defense. i think i got better defensively, and i think i owe most of it to con-guarding her all the time is no easy task. i kept up w/ the girls when i guarded them. other than my dribbling, i think i did rather well in the scrimmages. still not in great shape though.
leaving for Sana's party momentarily. yay! get to see her, jo, and con again!! yay!!!

i'm gonna get my schedule changed so i can play bball... aww... i love my PE class! the people in there are so awesome. i mean, the teacher Burton is cool (though he makes fun of me all the time) there's Nathan, Thomas, Alex, Eric, Michael, Timothy, Eva, Vivian, and Patrick!!! hopefully Pat makes bball too, so then i won't be too forlorn. my feet hurt now. yes con, i know i'm a wimp.

OMG. both of them look soo younG!!1 i mean, i barely recognized him in this pic right here. he looks like James Dean or something. i was like, "Michael Owen does NOT look this good now." don't get me wrong, i still love the guy and all, but he's not this hot.

camron got pissed at me today.. i dunno why. i think it's ME who should be pissed at him for taking my WALLET. but NO!!! it's ME that should ask for forgiveness because HE gave it back w/o taking my MONEY. GAH!!!! it's been exactly a full week until we've gotten into a serious fight, in which we're actually seriously pissed for more tahn 10 minutes.

i don't understand him. and what's worse is, that when he's pissed at me, all the other freshies are somehow against me too. today on the bus, i just started shaking my head and crying, "This is when i REALLY wish isaac were here!!!!"

some ppl were complaining that ayala sucked. i wanted to slap them. i was like, "SHUT THE HELL UP MAN!!!! AT LEAST YOU GO THERE!!!"

i miss isaac!!! talking to him right now... getting all nostalgic and feeling really pathetic bcuz i called about 3 different ppl isaac in class yesterday. i mean, when u have one of your best friends in all your classes for three straight years, u kinda get used to them sitting right behind u.

getting the hang of Troy (unfortunately) got our new bio books today. it's so shiny and new.. i'm scared of getting it damaged in any way. it looks too pretty!! that's the problem w/ me and new books. just look @ my LotR.

*yawns* god. how long can parents stay up gossiping??? i mean. take my mom for example, usually, by like 8:30 PM, she's yawning, and complaining how it's too late. when her friends come over, she doesn't even realize it's 4:30 AM!!!

Lauren looks hilarious when she's asleep. Frank wanted to put a cracker in her mouth to see if she would wake up.. pity we didn't.

cut my hair two days ago. when i said 1.5 inches, my mom obviously didn't listen, bcuz there's a BIG difference between 1.5 inches, and 2.5!!!!!1 it's just beneath the shoulders now, and i bought a hat to go over it. (yes, i actually went shopping) there was a point last night, when i braided it into two pigtails (kathleen called my Dorothy) and then put the hat on. i looked like a farm girl!!! my mom said it was "cute", and i was distinctly disturbed by it.

well, BARELY made it to school on time, and rushed to English, which i was a BIT late for. my teacher, Ms. Wilson, seems pretty nice, and it looks like it's gonna be a fun class. we're gonna read Antigone! she laughs alot, and is a bit weird, but seems pretty nice.
Mr. Madrid is a bit odd... to say the least. he reminds me of Mr. Booth, except weirder. this kid found a cell someone left behind, and Mr. Madrid started taking pictures with it, of random things, like the flag, his coffee mug, my watch, someone's shoe. it was funny. he's LOUD, and we ALREADY had a debate. i was defending the FRENCH. i'm SORRY!!!! Freedom fries damn it... i sit next to Shilpa. it seems like it's gonna be a fun class.

Bio... hmm.. supposedly the hardest class Bio. my teacher reminds me of Mr. Borcheding. he's really nice, and according to Kathleen, "not as hard" as the other teacher. Royston's in the class w/ me.
there was the rally today, which was a bit odd. our CHJH rallies were soooo much better, though i don't want to say anything bad, bucz i know how much work it is to put on those rallies. viraj kept complaining that "i'm doomed!! There's no hot cheerleaders!!!!!! what the f*** is wrong w/ this school? i mean. there's only TWO blonde cheerleaders!!!"
PE was gay, though Vivian and I talked practically the whole time.
ICT (Computers) was okay.. my teacher's a bit boring, and just talks the whole time, and it's FREEZING in that room. Diana's in my class, and sits behind me.
i didn't like my Spanish teacher very much. i don't know why. she just didn't seem too... welcoming, i suppose. i don't know exactly what it is. hopefully, it'll get better. Karisha, your my tutor--remember!!

Lunch. the cafeteria reminded me of China. i mean, a bunch of Azn ppl fighting over food. ashley kept saying, "i'm going to roseary next year!!!!!" CAmron has LONG hair, and BRACES! and he has BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS. it's CREEPY!!!!!1 but underneath all that, he's still the same, irritatingly straight-forward camron.
I OPENED MY LOCKER BY MYSELF!!!!!!!! SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!!! i have to carry my Spanish and Algebra 2 books everyday, but i get 2 leave ICT and History @ home, and we haven't gotten our Bio books yet, but i think i'm going to have to carry that too. god bless lockers! i'm working out a routine for myself right now. i got sooo freakin lost. i was confused!! that campus is like the size of Canyon, with twice hte people!!!!!!!!! didn't see Kathleen all day, after getting off the bus, though i saw Andy once.

i need to get my schedule changed, so i have 6th period athletic PE. camron sat there w/ both our schedules and spent the whole time trying to figure out which classes i should change, so i could be in his classes. i kept refusing to drop my english and history, and then he got all pissed. we had FIVE screaming fights on the bus. Chris D was like, "see? this was EVERY class last year." Kathleen just shook her head and Andy, who i sat w/, plugged his ears. all 3 of them ganged up against me!! it was NOT COOL!!!!! kathleen, with all her dirt on mE!!!!!!!!! keep your mouth shut woman!!!!!
