Anyone know of good books (Classics, historical fiction, or just overall good fiction)? I need a book to keep me away from my thoughts. The literary world is always better anyway.
And, anyone know any good British folk, Celtic music, Enya-like, Charlotte Church-like, singers or any good musicals CDs?
Of course, that is the ones I haven't already read, and the CDs i don't already have.

Hi, it's Unsung Heroine! I thought since you took your time to stop by at my LJ, I thought I'd quickly say 'hello'. It's been some time I know... but well, here I am.
The reason I answer this post is actually that someone had me going totally enthusiastic for Shakespeares's 'King Lear' today. So I would suggest 'King Lear'. If you haven't a distinct disliking for Shakespeare, that is, of course. Not everyone can be so crazy as I am to read Elizabethan drama for fun. ;-)
Another book I really enjoyed is Umberto Eco's 'The Name of the Rose' (I'm not so sure if that's the right English title though). I found it really suspenseful (except the one or other odd two pages filled with things like a reeaally detailed description of some church-portal) and I simply can't resist Sean Connery as William of Baskerville in the movie adaptation anyway. ;-)
Music, I'm not so sure about. I'm known to have a particular liking for Björk and Emiliana Torrini, but I'm very much aware of the fact that this is not necessarily everybody's taste. :-)
