HAHAHA THIS IS HILARIOUS!!!!

McFly are back! But one look at Danny's new hairdo has caused a lot of concern. So we got Tom to explain what must be a pretty desperate situation...
TOTP: Hi Tom. Thanks for talking to us. Now, what's going on with Danny's hair?
Tom: It's actually a wig. It's not real.
TOTP: Ah, PHEW!
Tom: He's just going through a bit of a phase. He's actually bald underneath, so we'd rather he had this curly wig - which was the only one we could find - than to go on TV being bald.

TOTP: Is this a recent thing? Is it like alopecia?
Tom: Yeah, we're on tour and he just suddenly woke up one morning and his hair had just gone, and we were like 'dammit!'. And we were in Birmingham and they don't have very good supplies of wigs in Birmingham. It was the only one we could find.
TOTP: Wow...presumably you're going to do some charity campaign about the perils of hair straighteners now?
Tom: Well that's the ironic thing, you know, straightening his hair for all those years, trying to make his hair look good, has actually made his hair fall out. And as a result he now has curly pube hair.

TOTP: Is he a broken shell of a man now?
Tom: He is. In fact no-one can really talk to him at the moment. He's just...not the same as he used to be.
TOTP: Aw, send him the love of the pop massive.
Tom: I will, and I'm sure he'll really appreciate that. It will help him and maybe some hair will start to grow.
