Is this possible? I can't wrap my mind around it. Kathleen, officially an "ADULT". I can't even begin to put into words how strange that is to me. Kathleen. It's Kathleen. She's.. I don't know... it's all so wrong.
People growing up... people changing..
people going to college.. I wonder who will be the first of my friends to get married. haha I'm betting on Kristina. :D
Such a strange thing life is. Change is. For the Elves the world does not change. I love Tolkien for that. The two fates of the Children of Iluvatar. the juxtaposition, the brevity of Man, his rises and falls, his life flickering like a candle in the wind.
Yet for the Elves the world is moves both quickly and slowly. Quickly for generations of Man drift quickly by, but slowly for they do not mark its passing.
Okay, okay. So I can't write about Tolkien anymore. This is quite saddening. I used to be able to spout that stuff like the Anduin flows.
